27 th of May we left Anchorage/AK an today on 27th of November we are in Cholula / Mex.
On our way South we met a lot of different people, ways of living, reactions about our trip and of course we made a lot of new friends.
From glaciers, big forets, hundreds of lakes in Alaska / Canada we came to the foggy and hilly coast of the US. When we left the coast in California we paddeld trough a hot an dry landscape all the way down to Mexico. Here we are cycling from the deserty lanscapes up to the high pine trees and down to the tropical forets.
We also had an impressive change of wild life. In the north we`ve seen bears, moose, caribous, squirels. On the coastline it were thousand of birds, also huge eagels, raccoons and wales. The desert has lizards, snakes and a lot of howling coyotes.
In This time we made 10821 km in 135 days of riding. With an avarage of 80,15 km a day, a sum of 84771 meters / altitude and a highest point of 3122 meters. Our bikes needed new tubes, rear tires, casette with chain and we fixed 48 flats so far .
We are glad to have this possibility to see these different parts of the World, and we hope to see a lot more on our bikes.
